tkifilm: Watching this on the big screen at the BFI was not only a pleasure but a revelation. 71 years old and the story, direction and shots still feel fresh. Insanely hard to do, and a film cited as the greatest film ever made fairly regularly… it’s a bit hard to watch it with a fresh pair of eyes. But what a joy.
